Poured from a 12oz bottle into a US tumbler pint glass.
A: The beer is a light gold color, with a medium white head that fades slowly and leaves a thick lace on the glass.
S: The aroma contains caramelized malts, a good amount of hops and some citrus.
T: The taste starts out with some breadiness from a hearty but not too heavy malt character. Then some sweet flavors of lemony citrus and caramel quickly follow. The hops presence is good for the style and brings some balance. The after-taste is slightly sweet.
M: Crisp and smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is clean.
O: Tasty, goes down easily, not too filling, very mild kick, good representation of style, this is a nice beer to pound down for a long time.

Poured into a nonic pint glass.
A: fluffy white head, hazy pale dark yellow with blonde highlights, creamy white lace on glass, creamy 2 finger head, excellent retention.
S:lemon zest, doughy, grainy malt, crackers, grass, and nothing else. Not much going on.
T: Decent. Lemon peel, zesty hops, some grass, some sunshine, light citrus, sweet malt, sweet fruit, day-old dry white bread; the aftertaste was so dry it left me with cottonmouth.
M: crisp, refreshing, light body, wet, creamy because of the fluffy cream head.
A good brew to drink in the summer as I look forward to its release every May; it isn't the best blonde ale, but it sure is refreshing when it's 100 degrees in the Salt Lake high desert sun! A solid summer seasonal by Uinta brewing.
