Enjoyed from the can in a tulip glass, this solid IPA pours a hazy yellow amber with a thick frothy white head of slllloooowwwllyy dissipating bubbles that leaves very nice soapy lacing. Nose of spicy hops, white pepper, light tropical fruits, light sweet malts, and bittering hops. Flavors of thin sweet malts come through the front with bittering and herbal hops commandeering the flavors tot he back and on the aftertaste. Light citrus notes linger briefly but are overtaken by bittering hops. Smooth light carbonated mouth feel finishes wet and light with lingering bitterness. Good for the style.

I don't know about this one; the chicken wings were good though.

Can from the Drinkery
Pours a slightly hazy deep golden color with a huge frothy bubbly bone white head that persists forever leaving lots of stickies to the sides of the glass on the way down. Huge peppery, resinous, earthy, lightly onion hop aromas. Faint bready caramel maltiness barely backs up the huge hop aromas. The flavor holds more of the toffee caramel bread maltiness than the aroma suggested. Pine resin and dank hop flavors with a smooth but firm hop bitterness. Light to medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a slick watery mouthfeel. This is one of the better "session" IPA's that I have had. I find most don't have much body and seem very thin and watery whereas this one works a little better for me in that area.

12 oz can into a nonic.

Pours clear and golden with a good sized off-white head. The head is durable and leaves plenty of lacing.

Aroma: surprisingly strong aroma of piney-floral-fruity hops.

Flavor: satisfying and well balanced, with less hop flavor than the aroma or IPA labelling suggest ... and more bready malts.

O: an aromatic, low ABV, APA (not a typo).
