I had this one recommended to me by the beer buyer and my local Whole Foods store. He said it was highly regarded at SAVOR, one of the largest beer festivals in the DC area.
A: Really nice hazy amber color with about a 1/2 inch head that quickly dissipated.
S: Floral for sure, but quite a bit of sugar as well.
T: The sugar was definitely not in the taste though - Hooray! This is extremely well balanced. Very hoppy, with just the right amount of alcohol burn.
M: The bitterness doesn't linger, and the sweetness is kept in check!
D: ABV is hidden, but definitely there. The alcohol is used for the greater good!
Overall: This is one of the best DIPAs I've had in the last year. I will definitely get this one again!

Served in a snifter. Vintage bottle, dated 05/22/13.
Appearance: A slight hazy amber body, It's hazy because of the pour which was pretty rough. Head almost two finger's length with your usual white color. Looks beautiful.
Smell:Bland citrus and yeast scent that is more potent as the brew warms up. Good but not something to roll head over heels for.
Taste: Complex and bitter. Grapefruit feel, a little sour that might feel a touch sweet. This might also be because of the age of the beer. Regardless very good.
Mouth: Medium to full bodied after-taste and very sticking.
Overall: Very good brew, wish I could bought more of these when I had the chance. If you see it and you love IPAs I can promise it will not disappoint you. Salud!
