A - Deep amber, thin head has little retention and lace.
S/T - Barrel aspects don't seem too strong. Some vanilla and oak, but the big caramel, molasses malt notes dominate. Sweet, with minimal hop character and a slight alcohol burn.
M - Full body, low carbonation, rich feel, warming alcohol.
O - Malts really dominate in this one with barrel aspects not very strong/noticeable. After having Labyrinth, I was expecting a lot more from this one. Sadly, it did not live up to that one.

Served in 12oz goblet. Poured a nice, opaque mahogany-brown color with less than a half-inch of light tan head that had very good retention and pretty good lacing.
The aroma was mostly sweet malts, with a bit of a hop tang in the background. On the tongue, the beer was pretty much the same, with the addition of an odd "funk" in the middle. there a slight bitter and smoky finish.
The body was about average for the style, a little fuller than Bigfoot perhaps, and had a dry finish. Drinkability was OK, but I would probably only have 1 at a sitting. Overall, a nicely solid brew. Worth trying if you see it.
