A: Pours a clear, clean golden-orange with a BIG bubbly white head of foam on top. Some minimal bubble action in the body. Preliminary lacing is looking good. The thing that stands out most here is how crystal clean the body is -- really nice.
S: Hops coming through nicely. Getting that nice piney / grassy smell over whatever citrus might be around. Smells super crisp. Really nice smell -- if the taste is anything like the aroma hen this should be good. Sweet malts are coming though too.
T: Compares favorably to DC Brau IPA. The hops are nice, not subtle, but very unique. Pine / Grassy aroma transfer to the taste. Kinda of a resin taste. Nice finish, slightly bitter, but really coats the mouth with hops. Crisp. Refreshing. Super solid brew here.
M: Medium body. Nice carbonation. Smooth and creamy -- no real bite. Oily feel. All good here.
O: I had heard good things about this brew on Beer Advocate. And, it's true. It's really good. Again, I compare it to DC Brau, but this gets higher scores because DC Brau is littered with off-putting sediment. This is so clean, crisp and beautiful. I recommend this to anyone.

For my first beer review I thought I'd start with a somewhat recent favorite of mine. This beer, although an IPA, is extremely drinkable, even for someone who claims to hate hoppy beers. Despite it's slightly bitter floral aftertaste (that any decent IPA SHOULD have) it's surprisingly smooth and refreshing, especially considering it's 7.3% alcohol content. Also with that being said, this beer is easy to have a few of without realizing how strong it is so indulge with caution.
Uinta has become one of my favorite breweries, ironically out of Utah, where you might have trouble finding this fine crafted brew in it's true form. (However of you get the 3.2 version, this suddenly becomes a great session ale :-D )
