Picked up a 6 pack for $11. Bottled date of 1/11/12. Poured into a SA perfect pint glass. Served at fridge temp. Had a few over the past week, time to review.
A- Pours a bright golden coppery hue. Transparent with decent amount of bubble rising to the surface. A clean white 1/4 inch of head forms before quickly reducing to a good ring and center island of foam from the laser etching.
S- Smooth, sweet, tropical. Aroma is pretty strong on this brew. Lots of sweeter citrus fruit come through, mainly ripe orange. Pineapple and light peach are also present. Good aroma.
T- Closely follows the nose in the flavor profile. The hops are forward, but barely out of balance with the malt. Bready and biscuity malts with a touch of caramel sweetness lay a light backbone for the sweet ripe hops to sit upon. Some pine resin character can be felt.
M- Very smooth with good balance on the palate. Hops linger lightly on tongue, but are not overpowering or strong in any way. Carbonation is present in the feel. Medium bodied for an IPA of this size.
O- A good IPA that showcases a sweeter hoppy profile without being malt heavy. Very easy to drink, making having a few quite enjoyable. Not a bold IPA by any means.

Uinta keeps selling me with their unusual bottles and color-saturated labels, but I've liked what I've had from them and don't know why I don't seek it out more. I grabbed a couple of these IPA's in a mixed six from World Market today. Label depicts a couple of farmers unloading some huge hop cones from a wagon.
Pours a rusty, crystal-clear amber. Nice head of fine off white bubbles which settles down in a moment to a nice looking collar. Visually impressive. But it doesn't stop there. The nose is just awesome: super-tropical, floral, mango, pineapple, booze - if I could drink this through my nose, I would.
Flavor is really hop forward, moderate-high bitterness, with a tiny amount of sweetness, citrus, and light malt. Actually has a pretty light and elegant feel to it given the big, fruity nose and 7.3 abv. Still pretty oily and full, with delicate effervescence.
Overall, I think this is a great IPA that I would totally get again. Welcome to my rotation, Hop Notch.
