From a 355 ml bottle (best by November 24, 2013) into a tulip.
A-A normal pour produces a clear, orange-golden liquid with a few tiny bubbles of carbonation. The head is a nice-looking eggshell affair that starts at about one finger tall and drops moderately while leaving some chunky, sticky lacing on the glass.
S-The aroma is pungent and hop-forward with mildly sweet citrus flavors and a bit of floral character. The malts are mostly buried, but there just a bit of caramel sweetness underneath for balance.
T-The taste is slightly more bitter and aggressive than the smell. Juicy citrus flavors are still prominent, but I detect a bit more pine and pepper on the drying finish. I like the hops here, but a bit of balance from the malts wouldn't hurt.
M-The brew has moderate to light carbonation levels with fine bubbles dancing on the palate. The heft is medium.
O-This is very solid beer and my favorite so far from Uinta. The hops are aggressive, but not harsh, and flavors are pretty tasty. The smell is particularly impressive and it is rather good-looking, too. This brew may lack the balance to compete with the best in the crowded field of IPAs, but I would certainly drink this again.

Had on-tap at Thirsty Monk Asheville. Served in an 8 oz tapered glass.
A- Pours a semi-hazy medium amber color with a 1/4 I ch white was that retains well before becoming a thick ring around the edge of the glass and a full sheet of sheer surface foam.
S- Pungent, grassy hop aroma with some citrus notes as well.
T- Bitterness clamps down hard and stays as the resinous hop flavors dance on the palate. Taste is decidedly more vegetal with minimal hop backing. Alcohol is very well hidden.
M- Sharp and a bit dry with medium carbonation and a body leaning toward the lighter side.
O- An excellent go-to for hopheads.
