Pours crystal clear amber with two fingers of white head which quickly dissipates, leaving nice lacing on the glass.
Aroma of citrus (grapefruit), herbal, a little weed, and sweet malt.
Good amount of bitterness lets you know it's an IPA, but will not wreck your palate. Nice combination of carbonation and body, good amount of chew - not a thin beer.
Good amount of malty sweetness balances the bitterness very well. The hops don't contribute much flavor beyond bitterness, but I can taste a bit of piney flavor. The alcohol is pretty much hidden by the flavor, really don't notice you're drinking 7.3%.
Overall a very enjoyable, good-looking, drinkable beer. Stronger than a session beer, but I could easily throw down a bunch of these in a sesh (whilst getting quite drunk). A great example of a well-balanced, American IPA. Not outstanding, but definitely above average.

For my first beer review I thought I'd start with a somewhat recent favorite of mine. This beer, although an IPA, is extremely drinkable, even for someone who claims to hate hoppy beers. Despite it's slightly bitter floral aftertaste (that any decent IPA SHOULD have) it's surprisingly smooth and refreshing, especially considering it's 7.3% alcohol content. Also with that being said, this beer is easy to have a few of without realizing how strong it is so indulge with caution.
Uinta has become one of my favorite breweries, ironically out of Utah, where you might have trouble finding this fine crafted brew in it's true form. (However of you get the 3.2 version, this suddenly becomes a great session ale :-D )
