Poured from a bottle into a chilled glass. Forms a one finger head, then beautiful clinging lacing. Hazy unfiltered medium amber color. The aroma is distinctive--not just grapefruit, but smells like fresh-squeezed grapefruit juice. Reall exhilarating! The flavor starts out with malt and hops, then develops a strong bitter finish that us terrific. The mouth feel is medium thick, not quite chewy. Overall this is an outstanding IPA with a unique character.

Great looking, tan to orange with a great light tan fluffy head that lasted and lasted and left sticky lacing.

Aroma is nice, good and hoppy. Flavor is also quite hoppy, as expected. The hops have a nice blend of citric, piney, and a little bit of floral notes. A nice bit of malty backbone gives the beer a pretty good overall flavor.

Body is a little weak and thin. it's not a huge downer tho. Overall the beer is tasty and I'll happily drink it anytime.

Tasty brew from bottle one. Label change did not change the beer.
Very aromatic, pleasing.
Leaves a legacy on the glass.
2 or 3 in a row is easy to do.
A great rendition of a classic taste. Up front and bold.
Familiar to other beers but sets it self apart enough to remember.
With a classic label.
Will buy again.
Soon.

Pours out a clear orangey amber with a big creamy eggshell head. The head has great retention and leaves big sticky lacing. The aroma is primarily floral and citrus hops with a nice caramel malt sweetness. The taste is mostly hops and little of the caramel malt. The beer is a little lighter on the palate than I would have expected but there is a good smoothness to it with just a little crisp hops bite on the finish. A great IPA.

Amber blonde with creamy pocked can-pour head taupe head that speckles and rings.
Resin, musty lemon, and flowers - a bit muted.
Caramel biscuit, a bit of marshmallow, then Creamsickle orange hops with some pine resin and nectar.
Lemon herbal finish and lingering powdery bitterness.
Lt-med, very creamy, round.

This was a few days past its expiration date (old enough to be labelled Hop Notch, and that changed in November!) so that's a factor throughout, especially with the nose.
Not huge hops, but does have that soft but sneaky Cascade hit that was big ten years ago. Sessionable (aren't cans usually?) yet not sure that makes sense at this ABV. Makes up for in smooth body what it lacks in IBUs (hits like 50, but again, is that age?).

Too gentle, but I kinda want a sixer of it.
