From a 355 ml bottle (best by November 24, 2013) into a tulip.

A-A normal pour produces a clear, orange-golden liquid with a few tiny bubbles of carbonation. The head is a nice-looking eggshell affair that starts at about one finger tall and drops moderately while leaving some chunky, sticky lacing on the glass.

S-The aroma is pungent and hop-forward with mildly sweet citrus flavors and a bit of floral character. The malts are mostly buried, but there just a bit of caramel sweetness underneath for balance.

T-The taste is slightly more bitter and aggressive than the smell. Juicy citrus flavors are still prominent, but I detect a bit more pine and pepper on the drying finish. I like the hops here, but a bit of balance from the malts wouldn't hurt.

M-The brew has moderate to light carbonation levels with fine bubbles dancing on the palate. The heft is medium.

O-This is very solid beer and my favorite so far from Uinta. The hops are aggressive, but not harsh, and flavors are pretty tasty. The smell is particularly impressive and it is rather good-looking, too. This brew may lack the balance to compete with the best in the crowded field of IPAs, but I would certainly drink this again.

Poured from 12 ounce can into my New Belgium globe glass.

Pours out of the can a rusty orange with a 2 finger head a soapy white bubbles. As it dissipates it is leaving nice lacing around the glass. Looks like a standard ipa...but that look is always something I love.

Smell is big citrus with a small whiff of pine. Not getting too much in the way of malts but I imagine they are in there somewhere. There is also a tiny bit of spiciness going on in there as well which I think meshes well with the big citrus notes.

For saying it is balanced on the can I am just not seeing it. Nothing really on the front of the palate. Middle of the mouth it hits with some nice citrus and pine and finishes with more citrus and pine and bitterness to follow. Middle of the mouth to the finish might have some type of caramel sweetness in there that helps cut the oncoming bitterness but I am not sure.

Mouthfeel on this, I think, was perfect. Right in the middle of the road. Not too heavy and not too light.

Far better options out there but this isnt bad.

Can into Pint class best by nov 2013.

Appearance- Gold, clear, 1 1/2 finger white head, nice retention

Aroma- Very big pine, citrus, tropical, dank, slightly sweet caramel, somewhat floral

Flavor- Piney, sticky resinous citrus, a little less tropical than the nose, good firm bitterness, but still easy to drink, caramel malt backbone

Mouthfeel- Medium, with good carbonation

Overall- Very nice IPA, refreshing, bitter with a good range of hop flavors and aromas. Liking the can form as well, worth a try for hop heads.

Very aromatic from the moment I popped the tab. The hop aroma was fresh and wet with maybe hints of citrus dankness.
The appearance was equally enticing. A clear orange amber colored beer with moderate carbonation. The head pours tall and thick as all get-up.
The taste was really good and was bold and hoppy. Malty yeah but who really cares when you get a nice and fresh and hoppy IPA. It's all about the hops baby!
I'll say this though the malts were lip smacking sweet.
Hops were fresh and dank with some citrus and floral notes. Drinks smooth and easy and even with the boldness of the hops, it's not bitter at all.
Definitly case worthy.... if fresh. Drinks nicely with Elastic Bond's Find a Way.

Clear orange amber body with a creamy ecru head. Nice retention and quite a bit of fluffy lace. Good looking beer.

Scent is floral and citrus - grapefruit and orange pith. Hint of pine.

Taste follows the nose. Citrus - orange, lime, grapefruit. Touch of pine resin. Little bit of sweetness from the malt - almost graham cracker-y? Some spicy hop notes.

Mouth starts sharp and ends creamy.

Very tasty IPA. Actually my first brew from Uinta. Will have to try more.
