Poured a finger and half of head on a hazy, dark straw colored body.
The aroma is a nice orange and mandarin smell.
The taste is moderate to strong pine and grapefruit bitterness throughout with a nice orange sweetness balancing it out.
The texture is crisp with moderate carbonation.
Quite enjoyable.

On-tap at the Coffee Table Lounge. On to the beer:

This IPA is lighter orange colored and topped with a little head, though it does whip some rings of lace around. It's a classic West Coast IPA by profile, providing an aroma with grapefruit, pine, and orange, while the taste is pleasantly hoppy with clean pie, sweet grapefruit, citrus, and a decent caramel base. The bitterness is tolerable as well, pleasant and not over the top.

Very good showing by Uinta. It looks like they can do that hop thing too.

Appearance = nice golden amber with a beautiful full head
Smell = Very nice citrus pine aroma
Taste = Very nice grapefruit - citrus expected from an IPA
Mouth feel = good feel until the expected deadening results
Overall = I really like this IPA from the tap into my growler into my belly

Bottle -> Wine Glass

A: Medium 3/4" off-white head, pure amber color, decently long lacing.
S: Citrus hops, marijuana bud, fresh herbs, slightly floral.
T: Malty front, caramel, toast, pine/citrus hops, herb/chive, nice refreshing bitter hop middle and end, refreshing/cleansing.
M: Excellent CO2, great body for the crystal clear appearance - even a bit creamy.
O: Solid beer. It packs a nice hoppy punch and sets you down softly. Nice hop finish lingers around - not too harsh - just right. This could make it to a new regular brew status. I do appreciate that it is 7.3% but hardly noticeable and brewed with renewable power. Watch out Sierra Nevada...

Clean looking, light copper body sporting a thick, lasting, finely foamed head. Good, pine-like hop aroma. Light, toasted malt flavors interspersed with a bold hop bitterness from start to finish; juicy. Medium bodied, crisp, clean, with a dry finish.

This beer looks good (lots of lacing and sticky foam clinging to the glass), tastes like an excellent IPA should (at least an American version) with strong hop flavor and bitterness throughout, and drinks easily with a relatively light body. Perhaps a little weak in the aroma department, but overall, a very classy beer.

Ah, canned beers have come along way over the past few decades...

Poured from a can dated best by 12/9/13, into a tulip.
Appearance - gold, clear and bubbly with a fluffy, pillow white head! Lacing all over the glass!
Smell - citrus hop forward, some grass and pine, West Coast IPA in nature, but a bit disappointing.
Taste - balance of hops and malts, but this is clearly an IPA from a can.
Feel - nice grapefruit bitterness, but the slight aluminum presence prevents me from getting too excited.
Overall - ultimately, a solid IPA. I usually give a little extra love for craft beer in a can, for convenience, though this one may be limited due to the fact it's in a can.

I have had this beer before buy had not done a full review, wanted to see how it stood up after each category rating. Outstanding looking and smelling beer that is tasty, but still has to much bitter followup for my personal taste. Overall a decent beer.
