A – Pours noticeably orange with a thin and fluffy light white head that dissipates quickly. Lacing left behind is thin with good stickiness.

S – Nice and hoppy, pine, grapefruit, lemon and lime. Some light sweet malt characteristics make a brief appearance, but the hop notes dominate this, and in a great way.

T – Not as hoppy as the nose would lead to believe, nice light malts with good hop characteristics. More pine, lemon, and grapefruit here.

M – Light, crisp, and airy, not cloying and sticky. However manages to leave a nice lingering aftertaste. Very drinkable.

O – Good IPA, very drinkable, and has a lot of good citrus notes in it. Not a game changer, but a nice drinker nonetheless.

Nice golden with a solid quilt of fine creamy foam. Smells classic west coast: resin, weed, pine, grapefruit and BO. Nice nose. Flavor is up front bitter with a malty (crackers, biscuit and some sweet english crystals) backbone. There is a good resin bitterness with a spicy flavor and some good midpoint purple kush. Medium on nearly full bodied with fine, moderated carb and a watery finish. Nice beer. I probably won't go out of my way for this one, but would drink on tap locally, particularly with a good spicy meal or pizza.

12oz to a snifter. Best before 3/15 date

Pours a clear deep gold with a finger and a half of foam. High carbonation stems from all sides of the glass, great lacing and retention, ten minutes now and it's kept much of it's shape. Signature compass bottle work, a bit on the carbonated side but overall a great looking beer. Still very impressed with the retention and lacing. Was able to smell the hops as I cracked the cap, meaning good things are coming my way. When I really get my nose in there there's strong floral piney hops, a very pronounced malt presence, and a hint of alcohol. A bit malty and weak on the citrus, but still a good smelling beer. Taste is, as expected, strong hops with a solid malt backbone. More citrusy notes come through on the taste with a touch of alcohol. Feel is crisp and medium bodied. Very bitter and easy to drink. Overall pretty good. Give it a go if you're able

Golden yellow in color with some nice white lacing

Strong citrus and pine in the noise with some mouthwatering juicy fruit characters.

Very bitter initially though pleasing to the tastebuds. Super sharp and bites the front along with the outside of the tongueild bready notes with just a hint of pear esters coming through the resins from hops. Very dry finish that leaves more pine and grapefruit on the palate and back of the tongue.

The background bitterness is a little stronger than most. This hides the alcohol but also comes off a bit strong. Nice IPA regardless.

Wow. This goes down entirely too easy for 7.3%! This IPA is a pleasing golden orange/amber color with a thin, lacy head and a fair to substantial amount of effervesence. It's fragrance is the most appealing quality and really knocked out of the park a blend of sweet caramel notes and lemony citrus hops, in tandem with elements of pineapple. It's light bodied for an IPA and tastes of white grapefruit and spruce, and it's unfortunately not as bold (nor does it have a lingering viscosity) as I'd prefer. There's also an acidic quality that that detracts from the overall mouthfeel, but all in all, this is a quality west coast IPA.
