On tap at the Mellow in G-boro.Poured a deep dark chocolate color with a tinge of ruby,a thinner off white head atop.Earth and bitter chocolate in the nose, not much sweetness other than slight molasses sweetness.Earthy with a light bitter chocolate notes on the palate,a little brown sugar/molasses sweetness in the finish. Not complex but tasty, light and easier to drink.

Picked this up recently for $1.50 for a 120z bottle. Dark black with brown accents at the edges. Smells like burnt toast but in a good way as well as a honeyed cereal that I can't quite put my finger on, good smell. Taste is more like a standard black lager, a tiny bit of roasty malt, not nearly as good as the smell.

So dark you could hide a black sheep in it. A mound of foam tapers over the top of my glass. Roasted chocolate malts, and sweet taro root build a tasty nose. The flavor is that of an incredibly basic stout. Maltiness is dark and delicious, hint of coffee, cocoa and caramel as well. Light body, medium fizz to it.

Overall it seems like the marketing males this beer more than the beer itself. Cute labeling, special bottle, and USDA Organic slapped on it make it stick out yet it yields something akin to Canadian made Guinness.

Just grabbed this today at Bottle Revolution.

Not much of a head, slight tan lacing. Dark cocoa in color.
Smells like a slightly carmel infused chocolate malt ball.
Malty lager body. Lighter than an ale, but certainly richer than most lagers. (Confused yet)
I like the structure of the beer though, easy enough to session but flavorful enough to enjoy. Has a light cocoa hint with the malts and just a little bit of a sweet chocolate in there as well.
Really enjoying this one, and at 4% Abv. I bet I'd be full before this one toppled me.

Pours a nice black color, nice carbonation, with a nice fizzy tan head, which leaves some sticky lacing behind. The nose is malty, slight hop note, with some nice little chocolate notes. The taste is sweet, malty, very slight hop note, and caramel. Medium body, with a nice crisp feel. This is a pretty nice brew, one of the best Uinta makes at 4% ABV.
