Pours dark brown with a khaki head. Aroma is crisp, showing itself as a lager, with a clean roastiness that gives off some coffee and dark chocolate components, and a little bready. Flavor lacks the punch of the aroma a bit but definitely grew on me the more I drank it; sharp roastiness that is more coffee grind than chocolatey, a touch of some bread, and a nice charred and slightly bitter finish. Both the aroma and flavor comes out big time as it warms up. A crisp, light active mouthfeel. Overall, a very nice sessionable beer here. Uinta with a winner.

Why this makes a 4.0 for me? It's packed with flavor at 4% alcohol. It's good for you (like Guinness only organic). It's hand-crafted through and through. Stunning black lager. I love the style, great alternative to porter, and this is one of the best I've tried. Must try.
A: The beer is a near-black, dark brown color with tinges of ruby at the edges, sports a medium beige head that fades slowly and leaves a tons of lace dots as it goes down.
S: So much going on in the subtle aroma: coffee, roasted malts, mocha, yeast, hay, and plenty of hops.
T: Starts bready, yeasty with a deep roasted malt. Then subtle flavors of black coffee joined by smokiness in the back. The hops sting is mild and provides balance. Continues to prune and pitted fruit flavors, and finishes smoky and roasty. A lot going on and it all works.
M: Crisp and smooth, nice mouth tingle, light to medium body, medium carbonation, finish is clean but fruity, almost sticky.
O: Tasty, session lager. One of 3 great black lagers I've tried this year. (Rogue, Port are also a must try). Like this low alcohol version.

A: Pours a dark mahogany color with 2 fingers of tan head that fades down to a cap. Leaves some nice lacing
S: Roasted malts, dark chocolate, and coffee stand out the most. A light fruitiness is present as well. Slightly acrid
T: Follows the nose. Roasty and chocolatey to start, with the coffee following closely behind. Finishes lightly bitter with more roast and a little char
M: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation
O: A nice sessionable brew from Uinta. Very easy to drink. Good price. Try some

A very good schwarbier indeed.
A nice color contrast with a nearly opaque deep ruby amber body and tall mocha head.
Plenty of lacing too.
The aroma has a rich with roasted malts and some sutle smoke kiln.
The taste is the same. Luscious smokey malts, roasted malts almost tastes like a raunchbier.
Smooth drinking and I like the sutle hints of smokiness that gives it some character. All in all this is a good easy drinking beer.
