Clear yellow with a medium sized white colored head.

Smells of toasted grain and mild malt. Mild noble hop aroma mostly it is grassy.

Starts out sweet and grassy with a mild bitterness and a faint sourness. Mineral water flavors. It is a little thin.

Mouthfeel is thin.

Overall this is OK but nothing special.

On tap at Sawmill Taproom in Raleigh

A - neon yellow with a thin, soft, white head that has good retention

S - lager yeast and faint lemon

T - faint lemon, lager yeast, faint grains, grassy

M - medium bodied, crisp

This is a nice, lighter, easy drinking summer lager. It's consistent, to style, and smooth. It's a solid summer offering.

Appearance- light golden color, clear with a white head.

Smell- Hops, but only a little. Maybe some lemon. Not a great beer for sniffing.

Taste- Light and clean, slightly bitter finish.

Mouthfeel- Crisp

Overall- Drinkable, but not overly exciting. Probably best as a lawnmower beer.

12 oz bottle into a pint glass.

Pours a clear pale gold, with several fingers of billowy bright-white head. This retains with a thick creamy dollop of froth right in the middle of the glass, which leaves back a lot of rich and sticky lacing. The aroma smells leafy in the nose, with some mineral notes and green citrus. A doughy sweetness mixes in from behind to give this an earthy twang in the nose.

The taste is leafy bitterness and green citrus, which gives this a crisp feel throughout. A supportive bready sweetness sits along the back and I’m starting to get a bit more lemon flavor from this as things warm up. This is dry and bitter on the finish but is fairly clean here throughout the bulk of the profile. The mouthfeel is lighter bodied, with a smooth crisp creaminess to the carbonation that gives this quenching feel in the mouth.

I enjoyed this, especially for a Pale Lager. It was smooth and clean tasting with a hop profile that really gave this a nice crisp drinkable feel. I could see this really hitting the spot on a warm summer day.

Best by date 8/01/2013 Just made it!
Pours clear gold with a fat finger of white foamy head. Good amount of lacing.
Smell is grassy hops bready malts.
Taste is mildly bitter hops with a modest supporting malt base.
Mouthfeel is medium, slightly dry finish. Could use a bit more carbonation.
Overall a very good pale lager given the 4% abv. Not a big beer by any means but given the competition at this level it is quite good.

A: The beer is relatively clear pale yellow in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a thin white head that quickly died down, leaving a large patch of bubbles in the center of the glass and a collar around the edge.
S: Light aromas of pale malts are present in the nose along with some hints of grassy hops.
T: Like the smell, the taste has flavors of pale and biscuit-like malts along with notes of grassy malts. There is a light amount of bitterness and slight hints of sweetness.
M: It feels medium-bodied, a little smooth and very clean on the palate with a moderate amount of visible carbonation.
O: This beer is easy to drink and isn't a bad selection for the style. I could see this as being a lawnmower beer.

This beer pours a light bright orange yellow color, clear with a 1/4 inch of fizzy white head. Smells of lager yeasts, some hops, creme pop, and some bread. Taste if anything is clean and somewhat refreshing but I didn't find it very interesting. Body is light and ABV is quite session able. If you are into light lagers and pilsners this may be a great summer beer for you but I couldn't see getting it again.

Tap at prezo in Milford.

Decent creamy frothy 1 finger head fades fairly slowly, slight hazy watery tan pilsner colored.

Nose very light, straw malts, light crisp lager note, hint pilsner malt, touch fruity lager yeast, hint grassy hops.

Taste is a bit better, more toasty pilsner malts, little straw and grain, very light malt feel, with little fruity lager note and crispness. Plenty of hops, grassy noble hops, little spicy almost American hop note, mild to fair bitterness. Finish is dry, crisp, all lingering grassy hops and fair bitterness. The noble-esque grassy leafy hops linger for quite a while.

Mouth is light bod, touch fluffy malt feel, nice carb, bit of a soft and crisp lager.

Overall ok but nothing special, malts are a but too light even for a light lager, I do like the hop profile it's quite nice and saves the beer, as well as the nice crisp soft lager notes. Nose is very light though.

I spotted this in the cooler at the Friendly Greek recently and decided to use it to fill out a mixed-sixer. I like both that the Greek has really expanded their beer inventory and that Uinta is so widely available here in PA.

From the bottle: "Earth, Wind and Beer Launched by Uinta Brewing Co. Salt Lake City Utah"; "For best flavor enjoy in a glass"; "Brewed with renewable power Wind & Solar"; "Summer Lager"; "Keep Cold".

My pour initially created a fluffy two fingers of bone-white head, but the retention was not there. I will say that it left some nice lacing in its wake, however. Color was a sunshine-yellow with NE-plus quality clarity and I could see the future, specifically, Sa, 21 Feb 2015 and my joint birthday celebration with Val MidWest, accompanied by Ma Petite Abeille. Nose was very grassy with a light underlying biscuit maltiness. Mouthfeel was medium, full for a lager, and the taste remained grassy with a honey sweetness. Finish was semi-dry, very tasty and pleasant with the malty/grassy hops flavor commingling nicely. I would drink this any time of year from a CAN and it would be a good CANdidate for National Session Beer Day, started by my FerMentor.
