Stop #328 on my world brewery tour.
Visited around 6:00 on a Tuesday. At the time, they closed at 7 and only served food at lunch. A handful of people at the small bar and once I had my beers, made my way to a comfy couch in the back below a window to the impressive brewery setting. Man, I love stainless steel.
I went with what appeared to be an unfiltered Kolsch, an IPA, and a porter. All the beers were excellent although it's challenging to make a balanced IPA at 4% alcohol.
Would be nice if they had more/better views into the brewing area.
My bill for 3 ~16 beers was $6.
Go to the nearby Red Iguana for killer Mexican food (Mole Poblano or any of their Mole's)

The setup of this place and decor is cut and dry, but somehow, that seems to come off in a Uinta kind of way and doesn't go into bland and boring territory. There were, 8 taps available, from what I can recall. Food is the standard sandwich fare that breweries offer in order to also offer alcohol. I will say that the bread was as fresh as it could be. Kind of hit my tastebuds in a surprising way. Anyways. This is a decent stop on the SLC scene. I mean, how many of them are there in the city? Regardless. It's a chill spot, and you might as well hit it up.

We stopped on the way to the airport for lunch. While not exactly cozy, it's a cool brewery atmosphere. A big operation with huge tanks and offices upstairs. All quite slick and prosperous looking. I liked all the big graphics of beer labels around the walls, boxes of beers, a cooler full of beers, T-shirts on the walls. My favorite was the big artwork for "Yard Sale" winter lager.
Efficient lunch operation: each person fills out the form to make your sandwich their own creation. Not bad (skip the "sourdough") and take along the other half to eat on the plane.
The tap selection was served in nice tall logo glasses instead of the usual yabbo pints. On tap that day was pale ale, wheat, kolsch, porter, black lager, brown, amber wheat, and the Wyld. Bottles of these and stronger ales to take home. A pleasant place in Nowheresville, UT.
