I got this beer in a six pack of German beers that I created at a "pick-your-own-singles" store in Delaware. I made a German beer six-pack.
12oz bottle, green (not my favorite bottle color), poured into a 20oz pub glass (got it from the Northern Brewer website, it has a tapered mouth.)
C - A nice Orange/Gold color, cloudy with a huge amount of head and great head retention. I pour down the middle after the first quarter of the bottle of beer is in the glass to release more aromas. Just my thing.
A - Grainy, earthy, and banana aromas.
T - Sweet and earthy, banana and fruity flavors with a medium mouth feel. Not much bitterness here, it leaves a sweet flavor in the back of your mouth. Most importantly is that it tastes distinctively German.
O - I like it. I would love to sit in a beer garden in Germany on a warm summer's day and knock back a few of these while eating a giant Bavarian style soft pretzel
