Franziskaner and Hacker Pschorr (an amalgamation itself) are two German breweries that have been bought up by larger German breweries (Spaten and Paulaner, respectively) and seem to focus on their weisse products. I like this one. Medium body, typical weisse flavors of banana, lemon and clove (in order of predominance). My one complaint is the green bottle -- the freshness of the beer can be affected by the bottle's inablility to keep light out.
