Presentation: 12 oz. green bottle, poured into a Weizen glass.
Appearance: Cloudy, creamy pale-yellow with a lively orange hue. Chunky white head is present, which provides a nice creaminess and lacing.
Aroma: Elements of banana and clove, coupled with a musty, yeasty hefeweizen smell.
Taste: Crisp upfront, yet creamy. Carbonation is quite vibrant, and the body is medium. There is a zesty, citrusy, lemon-like taste upfront, with some clove-like spiciness. Bananas and cloves combine with some toasted malts. The finish is fairly dry, but yeasty.
Overall: This is one of the greatest hefeweizens around. It's crisp, flavorful and refreshing. Recommended!
