500 ml brown bottle with no born on date from the Utah system pored into my beer goblet.
Appearance: A slight haze on this light golden brew. The most impressive head I have seen in some time, about three fingers tall before it settled down to about half a finger high layer of almost white foam.
Smell: The nose is sharp. I am hit by spice, clove and other wise. Subtle band-aid phenolics and some mild banana notes as well. Very inviting.
Taste: Delicious bready wheat notes with mild fruitiness going on in the background. A subtle amount of spice in the background, not as forward as the nose.
Mouthfeel: The mouthfeel is really soft and luscious, the carbonation is on the lower side while the body is medium.
Overall: A very nice hefe. Might be OK for neophytes to try, seeing as how it is not rare and would not be wasted if they did not like it. I would love to try this on on tap.
