Poured into a hefe glass--bottle has statement regarding German Purity Law. Poured a cloudy dull orange with nearly 4" head (is that normal...damn!) that was creamy vanilla colored. Light lacing that slid back into the beer.
Smelled musty and a little biscuity with the requisite banana and clove. Flavor followed suit. Syrupy smooth mouth feel with a zing in the middle fading at the end.
This beer was smooth and refreshing. Exactly what I was looking for in a hefe and didn't disappoint like many American versions of this style have. I'll bee sure to keep a sixer of this around.
