Pours a cloudy yellowish amber color with a massive tight head, almost champagne like in appearance. The head receded in a few minutes and lingered as a thin line and left some nice lace. Aroma was powered by yeast and grains with a fruitiness and just a touch of cloves. Flavors are very mild and unassuming, perfect in my opinion. Just a twinge of banana and clove with floral essence and a malty yeasty finish. Mouthfeel was very peculiar...it almost felt like I was drinking a hollow beer. The super tight carbonation coupled with the wheaty feel just kind makes this beer slip down your throat with a minimal of effort, very odd. Overall a good drinker where simplicity seems to be its greatest asset.
