A - Body is a medium to dark copper hue. Thick white head with lots of bubbles. Good lacing, but nothing like belgian lace. Brilliantly clear.
S - Strong smell of dark malts. Little hint of hops, but masked by various spices.
T - Good sweetness from the malt, finishing taste of some bitter. Definitely a spicey note. Not much hop flavor.
M - Average mouthfeel, moderate carbonation.
D - Something about this Marzen has always been undrinkable to me. The mix of extreme malt and random spice kind of leaves a soapy residue in my mouth.

Clear golden color with a thick two finger head with decent retention and leaving some laces.
Floral aroma with notes of Munich malt sweetness and lager yeast.
Flavor is more present with notes of biscuit malt with controlled sweetness balanced by herbal and floral hops. Just a hint of caramel, spices and citrusy acidity. Mildly dry aftertaste with a light to medium bitterness.
Light bordering medium body with appropriate carbonation.
A pleasant Märzen, although quite malty it is not cloying, showing that hops are doing their work behind the curtains. Faithful to style.
