Poured into a pint glass out of a growler.

Pours a clear light copper with a thin half-finger white head. Pretty average head retention and lacing. Nothing outstanding but fairly respectable.

Aroms has some toasted caramel mixed with hay and grass. The hope do come through but are kept in check by the malt. Maybe a touch of honey as well.

The flavor really brings together the malt and hops with each being very balanced. It starts out with some toffee and honey perfectly mixed with grassy hops. Mild sweetness throughout but it is appropriate for the style. Light bitterness is enough to keep with sweetness in check and makes this quite drinkable.

Overall, a respectable oktoberfest and probably one of the better ones available in the States. Pretty readily available and worth picking up.

50 cl bottle into a mug. Clear golden body, minimal head, very little lacing. Subtle grainy pale malt and floral hops on the nose. Crisp and sweet clean taste of grainy pale malt, a hint of apple in the background, dry finish with a very subtle hop bitterness, slightly bitter floral aftertaste. Medium-light body, high carbonation. Overall a very drinkable beer, wouldn't take an effort to down these in liters in an octoberfest tent. Not special enough to buy to be had at home again though.
