This is a 355ml bottle brought direct from Peru to me by a buddy on vacation. This is brewed in Trujillo by UCP Backus y Johnston at their Trujillo brewery.
Opened with a pop and poured into a Pilsner Glass with a big head and lots of carbonation. This beer is quite pale, paler than most macros I've seen lately. It looks good and refreshing though. I like the appearance in the glass at any rate. Nose is unfortunately less impressive. Very sweet, might give me a toothache, but lots of not-so-subtle cheap cooked veggie and corn adjuncts and nearly-obscured aroma of earthy hops.
On first taste, this beer is really rather flavourless. Thin-bodied to be sure, so it slides down awfully easily. Taste is very low in bitterness, a little bit of aroma hops, but almost all malt, what little of that that you can taste anyways. I can't believe how flavorless this beer is. Watery and boring. It gets a bit better as it warms, the hop presence starts to come through a little more, but still not particularly recommended, there's a lot better Pilsners out there.

The beer has a light color, with nothing special besides a nice feel to it.
No strong smell nor taste, and kind of difficult to perceive any ingredient but hops. It does have a weird aftertaste though.
It has a nice look, not really foamy nor sparkly. Overall, an average beer for a commercial brand.
