A 330 ml brown bottle from a 5 bottle variety pack. Pours out opaque black, with a spongy beige head that gets creamier as it settles.

Comes across a bit more like a Porter to me in the aroma, toasted and dark malt, minor sweetness, mild earthy character.

Some roasted and toasted malt in the flavour, although the roast is the lesser of the two. Some coffee and a nutty character rises in then middle, while the finish is toasted with soft rounded coffee. Pretty mild overall.

Medium-bodied mouthfeel, slick and a bit thin, with moderate carbonation.

Nothing really unique or special here, or all that noteworthy. Would make a better Porter or Brown ale if tweaked a bit. Very mild for a stout.

Tried at a beer tasting event out of a standard 333ml bottle. No chance to check for a best before date.

A - pours with a small head that resolves quickly. On close inspection it looks almost like a brown ale with less solidity and deep color than the usual American stout.

S - some dark chocolate on the nose but surprisingly no obvious coffee.

T - nice initial roasted malts, dark chocolate and slight smokiness which eventually gives way to some hints of coffee in the finish. Seems well balanced, though so well balanced that it's almost unremarkable.

M - average mouthfeel with not a whole lot of carbonation. Thinner than most American stouts (evident by just looking at it)

D - reasonably drinkable, though I'm not sure why I would given that it's not really remarkable in any way

Doesn't really live up to the billing of a coffee-infused beer to me, especially after having something like Peche Mortel. Happy to have tried it, but I'm not likely to have another.

330ml bottle, nothing more to add, due to my lack of Danish knowledge...

This beer pours a very, very dark brown, opaque, no edges, no light breaches. It displays a large amount of billowy, thinly creamy pale beige head, which leaves very little beyond a meniscus ring of lace around the glass as it sinks away. The aroma is strongly in the bitter coffee vein, with just a bit of blended baking spices and roasted malt to pull me away from unpleasant memories of early morning jaunts past undesirably aromatic coffee shops. The taste is bitter coffee, sweet roasted caramel malt, bittersweet chocolate, and a slight herbal, grassy hop edge. The carbonation is quite sedate, the body medium weight, smooth enough, and it finishes with a drying, biscuit and hop edge, that brings the beer back to the basics, shouldering out the heretofore prominent coffee essence.

A coffee wanker's dream, to start off, but in Raasted's defence, it's in the bloody name. At any rate, eventually this morphs into a very enjoyable, balanced Yankee-style stout. Try it for this reason alone.

330ml bottle poured into tulip aug21 2010

A gusher that pours a dark cola color with a fizzy cola like head that lasts seconds and leaves no lace

S some coffee with a little cinnamon of all things

T slight bakers chocolate with a pleasant coffee flavor and some other dark roasted malt flavors that I can't quite place

M thin and over carbonated

D decent flavors but lacking in other areas, not a bad beer but nothing special

I wouldn't go looking for this one it's a little boring, I've had much better coffee stouts for much less money, when It comes in a 25$ 5 pack mixer I expect much more
