A: Hazy & cloudy, dark pastel, slightly orangey golden. Big white head that is a touch rocky. Okay retention & alright lacing.
S: I get lemony citrus more than estery banana & phenolic cloves. I also get stone fruits & tropical notes. Banana & clove are actually minimal. Background wheat & doughy base. No hops.
T: Doughy wheat, lots of meutral & clean yeastiness. Hint of caramel & a touch of sweetness. Lemon citrus note with just a vague hint of a tart / acid bite. Yeast note gets increasingly dry & powdery. Towards the end hops show through as herbal and woody.
M: Medium body with matched CO2. A touch of sweetness at the start but then lots of earthy & powdery dryness. Perhaps a hint of a zing.
D: Much more American in style than German. Actually it doesn't really have any of the traditional banana and clove. Mostly doughy wheat, yeast, & lemon. Not really all that refreshing or quenching. Best use is to wash down food.
