Poured from a bottle into a tulip. First pour showed a quickly dissolving off-white head. Second pour gave a 1/4 inch off-white head that left minimal lacing. It pours a minimally hazy golden color with no sediment.
The aroma is weak with a few hints of citrus fruits and orange rind. A little grass scent is also present.
The taste is again citrus with some rind components and a bit more grass combined with grains and yeast, with a hint of spice.
The mouthfeel is light/medium bodied with a quick carbonation. It goes down fairly smooth and leaves a lingering sourness.
This beer is okay. It is definitely a hefeweizen, but each of the components could use some potency behind them.
