Poured a light yellow into a pint glass, around a finger of loose white head. Not much aroma to speak of, just a bit of malt.
Mild initial malty flavor with average carbonation and a slightly thin mouthfeel, but a distinct smokiness soon took over, followed by a long finish that bore an uncanny similarity to mesquite BBQ potato chips.
Worth trying once, but I don't think I'd have more than one unless accompanied by some grillin' on a summer evening (and even then, I'm pretty sure Shiner Bock would be the go-to option).
