12 oz bottle poured into tulip glass.
A - Dark burnt orange with a finger of quickly dissipating khaki head.
S - Very sweet smelling, caramel, bread, and roasted malts.
T - Again, quite sweet, the caramel is the main flavor here, with bready, roasted malts taking the back seat. Very slight bitterness, rounded off well with the amount of sweetness.
M - Moderate body, moderate-to-high carbonation. A slight sticky sweetness lingers.
O - I think this beer is way underrated here. It's got the right amount of caramel, roasted malt, and sweetness. It could be a little thicker, but it's easy drinking and probably my favorite beer from Shiner.
