Shiner Oktoberfest has a medium, cream-colored head, a bubbly, clear, copper appearance, and a some thick lacing left behind. The aroma is of medium-roasted, sweet and sour barley malt and brown bread. Taste is of the same character, with some hop bitterness present at the end of the sip. Mouthfeel is light to medium, and Shiner Oktoberfest finishes mostly dry, crisp, refreshing, and easy drinking. Overall, this is a good beer.
