Appearance: This Oktoberfest pours a clear deep orange color and is topped with 1” of off white head that lingers very tastefully quite a few drinks into the pint.
Smell: This beer smells very German to me it smells like a marzen should with a good base of malt aroma and a bread or yeast aroma that just screams German.
Taste: The taste is the classic marzen style as well it has a malt base with the bready flavor that I associate with a lot of German style beers. This is a very well done marzen style beer.
Mouthfeel: This is a medium bodied beer that is very easy drinking and flows around the palate nicely. Spoetzl Brewing did a good job on this beer.

Look - clear, copper-colored with a good 2 fingers or so of head. Good carbonation.

Smell - fairly hoppy in its aroma, with a bit of a caramel and toast hint.

Taste and Mouthfeel - fairly sweet and well-balanced. Not too bitter, and lighter in body. Fairly clean or zesty-tasting in the hops. Finishes with a slight bitterness that dissipates. Just a slight bit toward the creamier side, but fairly well-balanced.

Drinkability - Decently complex, which makes for enough enjoyment, but could be more so...maybe this one is too well-balanced. Good brew, still, and easy to drink.

Copper color with nice head. A sweet finish. Pretty decent beer. Another solid beer from the folks in Shiner, TX. Head was alright, but dissipated kind of quickly. Flavor was malty and sweet, pretty good mouthfeel. Lacing on glass was minimal. Pretty good effort.

Pours a dark orange with a creamy fat head that fades slowly and leaves nice rings.

The aroma is malty with lots of rich caramel and notes of toffee. Spicy hops peek through. I think saaz.

Pushing the envelope for the style on the hops, but I don't mind. Nice spicy, grassy finish keeps a big malty, caramel backbone from lingering.

Smooth and medium. Slightly thin for the style.

I really enjoyed it. A bit watery for the style, and hoppy but still a solid beer.
