12 oz bottle, poured into a pint glass

Appearance: Pours a semi-cloudy/semi-clear, orange/amber with two fingers of white head that dissolved into a half of a finger of foam that completely covered the top of the beer.

Aroma: Very malty and very hoppy with notes of orange zest, clover and caramel.

Taste: Very malty and bready up front, like toasted English muffins, sweetened by caramel and some semi-sweet citrus, like orange marmalade, finished with some beautifully balanced hoppy bitterness.

Mouthfeel: Medium, with some good carbonation to tickle the taste buds. With an ABV of 5.8%, there is no presence of alcohol on the palate.

Overall: This is a very solid, very delicious American version of an Oktoberfest beer! Actually, it’s one of my favorites and one that I always get every October. Great balance between malt and hops and I really like the citrus flavors too!
