Poured from a 12 oz. bottle into a pint glass.
A - orangey amber, translucent. Has a solid two finger head w/ an agressive pour but dissipates rather quickly. Doesn't appear to leave much lacing,
S - bready malt, some hops, and some aroma that I can't quite place. I don't even quite know how to describe it - a bit fragrant and heavy, almost like flowers in bloom I guess.
T - mild malt flavor up front, followed by bitter and some citrus hops. The finish is what really drew my attention: there's a really interesting burst of fruity sweetness right at the end which I like. It's not syrupy, but finishes rather nicely.
M - medium bodied, and the finish is lovely as I mentioned above. Probably my favorite part about this beer.
O - overall, a very nice beer. My first foray into this specific style, and I really enjoyed. In comparison to other lager offerings, the flavor profile seems relatively complex. However, that's not to say that this is a great "hot day" type beer. I bought this as part of mixed sixer, but I might have to get a sixer of just this now.
