A - gold with a large, soft, white head that has decent retention; there are a ton of carbonation bubbles rising to the top
S - white grapes, faint yeast
T - white grapes, sweet, grainy, some faint yeast
M - light to medium bodied, well carbonated, a bit warm
This is a simplistic if not over simplified beer. The yeast seems to do all the work adding some notes of white grapes. For 5.70% it's way too warm. As far as saisons go, there are far better out there. As far as Shiner beers go this is a nice change from their traditional lagers.

A- slightly hazy gold with a large white head that fades to a finger and leaves suds of lace.
S- upfront is big orange peel with some sweet grain and cardamom underneath. A little bit of wit-like metallic shows as it warms.
T- candy sweetness with just faint notes of citrus hanging on throughout the finish.
M- moderate carbonation with a dry finish that helps dissipate the sweetness.
O- I wasn't expecting much from a Shiner Farmhouse beer but wanted to give it a try. Unfortunately this beer is both a bit muddled and bland without enough character from the hops or yeast.

12oz brown can with a freshness date.
Crystal clear dull amber hue, very bubbly with a decent amount of lace. Ripe pears, spice, bready malt and hay in the nose. Slick medium body, mild crispness. Rustic graininess meets a mild hop bitterness, slightly spicy with a fruity backing. Faint medicinal tone with a ghost like broth note. Finishes spicy and semi-dry.
Decent and expected this. While the whole Saison / Farmhouse thing is way over done now Shiner took a good stab at it.

Appearance: slight haze, golden yellow, fizzy white head
Aroma: refreshing fruitiness bordering on citrus with a slight tartness. Slight pale malt aroma. Overall zesty aroma
Taste: Zesty refreshing taste of citrus fruit and soft pale malt background.
Mouthfeel: Fizzy and medium bodid
Overall: Not bad, but nothing spectacular. Quite refreshing, as the style should be, but lacking in citrus fruitness that could take this ale to a new level. Slightly overcarbonated as well.

Smallish white head settles pretty quickly above a clear bright golden colored beer.
Light soapy yeastish mixed with sour grain malts and throw in a touch of peppery spices in the aroma of this farmhouse ale.
The grain malts come through more in the taste, it loses most of the soapiness and yeast attributes I got in the aroma, but the very light peppery spices are still there.
A light dryish aftertaste with a bit of the grains and light pepper like spices clinging on with this light bodied drink.
Not overly impressive other than I happened to drink this on a hotter day and my air conditioner has yet to be turned on for the summer, so I guess to it rates better than it would have on most days.
