A - A slightly cloudy yellow with some orange tint.

S - Very nice hops aroma with faint hints of grain and malt.

T - The hops hit hard initially but fade to something I am having trouble with - almost a soapy flavor and finish.

M - Very neutral - good carbonation but a very plain.

O - I actually expected better from Shiner. This beer, while ok was an overall disappointment.

12oz picked up a while back at Brewer's Haven in Boise... Pours with a short lasting white head... little lacing... the brew is slightly hazed pale golden.

Nose shows cracker like maltiness along with a lightly spicy element that I associate with clove... a little bit of lemon too, but that could be my mind playing tricks on me.

Flavor pretty much mirrors the nose... a bit more clove and a light peachy fruitiness.

Overall like a saison "lite"... still pretty drinkable... a good introductory Belgian style.

Clear gold with two fingers of white head and a good amount of lace.
Smells like a witbeir with a touch of funky yeast.
Tastes like a funky witbeir . Some spice.
mouthfeel is fine and it has a lightly dry bitter finish, Carbonation is just right.
Overall a Farmhouse Ale for the new guy. Think of it as Farmhouse light.
