-Poured from a 12oz bottle-
Appears a thin gold with a decent 1 finger cream white head.
Smells of spice and and bread maybe like a un sweet cornbread. A little hop like that of a fruit plant not necessarily the fruit.
Taste like cracked pepper and bread up front from the malt. A little hop on the back end.
Mouthfeel is thin with mild carbonation.
Hard to make out the date on the bottle, but I do believe this is a few months past its "prime". Shiner makes decent beers for their price and that is all I've got here.

Pours a hazy golden-yellow with a small thin white head with some lacing. Smells a bit sour, with malts, spice, and a few other flavors which were hard to figure out. The taste was ummm...pretty bad overall. Trying to figure out what was the direct cause of the dislike and has to be some strange hops. Ended up poring out the rest of the glass. Shiner brews are all over the board.

Kind of a saison light presentation. Has the pieces, light fruity, a little doughy, but it is soft on intensity. And the intensity dies out in time.
Full rich white head. Slightly cloudy body and a straw gold color.
Nice fruit flavors. Really quite refreshing. Mild to a little more in the drying. Mild tartness and hints of sour.
Tingly, but not prickly, carbonation. Reasonable soft.
This is a good starter saison. Hits the basics. Is enjoyable. Price is right.
