A free standing store on a busy road with off-street parking. Is well lit with wide isles. Has a wide selection of all alcoholic beverages domestic and import. Beer selection is decent and has local beers including Brass Foundry. Has a beer cave. A unique selection and a few whales but more or less common things. Nice employees, competitive prices. I will return when in Long Lake.

A nice store with a decent beer selection on the fringes of the metro area. Many Minnesota and Wisconsin breweries represented along with Rogue, Flying Dog, and Goose Island. All the Surly cans are available. The import and single selection where lacking however. Some interesting bottles but mostly just the common stuff available everywhere. One thing I did not like was the layout. Most stores have the craft/import beer segregated from the other stuff. But here craft beer commingles with BMC products. So you have to walk the entire length of the cooler and look into every door to see what is there. The store seems to be heavily weighted into wine sales. Huge wine selection. They also have a cigars for sale. The prices are a little higher but about the same as other outlying stores.

If you were in need of a quality liquor store on the outside fringes of the far West metro area, this would have to be it. The focus here is on American micros, and it has many of the suspects you would look for in the area. Bell's, Schell's, Summit, in all varieties, plus Rockies, Boulder, Sam Adams, Lake Superior, plus many others that I am missing. All of the usual suspects are there for imports, including many German and UK. My only gripe is the lack of Belgian selection, maybe only a dozen or so options, but this store has a nice location for someone in that part of town, right on Highway 12 and Willow Drive. Service is friendly when you get to the register. Prices are maybe a little above average, but not too bad. I will go back again, just because of the convenient location.
