A caramel centered stout accentuated by Ridge Runner French Roast coffee. Instead of simply adding coffee to a stout, we build a stout around the coffee. Coarse ground coffee beans are added in the conditioning tank. Carefully selected coffee adds notes of rich chocolate and toffee to this robust stout.

A little thin for me but trust me, this is a good brew.
big coffee and dark chocolate upfront. Followed by malty flavor .
Very smooth and easy drink. Not a huge mouthful and a thin stout but by no means does this take away from the overall drink.
Another great beer from JackieOs.

Picked up a 12 oz can from the Blue Door Bottleshop 2-17-22 for $3.00. Canned 12-16-21; consumed 5-2-22.
Beer poured black with a very nice tan head that has some nice hang time.
Nose is coffee and caramel forward which is a nice combination.
Taste is a moderate sized medium roasted malt base that is integrated very well with the coffee bean base. Note of caramel lend a very light touch of sweetness. Finishes with adequate hopping to balance things out. No notes of acrid coffee in the finish.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied and smooth.
Overall a really enjoyable coffee stout!

Very dark, almost black, smooth until the end then you get that stout crisp

Just a bit too sweet for me. A very nice stout with a relatively low ABV but I can probably only drink one of these per session. The aroma of coffee, chocolate with some roasted bitterness cutting through works well.

Poured from a can into a pint glass.
Appearance: Dark brown, with only the slightest hint of translucence when held up to light. Large, fluffy head.
Smell: Complex. Lightly roasted coffee, milk chocolate, dark fruit, maybe a touch of hops.
Taste: Roasted coffee beans and barley, dark chocolate. Bitter but not acrid.
Feel: Light-to-medium bodied, with light carbonation.

A wonderful blend of chocolate and coffee into a mid bodied stout. A little bitter in the finish but not too toasty/ashy like some. I like the ABV on this one at 6.5% which makes it very hearty and beefy without being too heavy as it’s still somewhat sessionable and not a sipper. Highly recommend.
