Aroma: Melon and tropical fruit aromatics up front. Mild alcohol warmth invades the nostrils. Slight hint of bready sweetness. Clean fermentation character.
Appearance: Cloudy amber pour with a thick, long-lasting white head. Appears still and murky in the glass.
Flavor: Huge pithy orange rind bitterness up front. Bitterness continues with more melon and citrusy notes to back up the punch. At the very end on the back of the tongue is more of the bready maltiness. Balance is firmly bitter. Finish is clean and dry.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied with high carbonation and slight hop-derived astringency.
Overall impression: A bitter bomb for sure. I enjoyed it but there are so many other good, local, better, and more reasonably priced IPA's out there that I can't see reaching for this one again.

Reviewed at Rising Sun CG, Glacier National Park, MT. Full notes taken to my phone when out of service area.
A- Poured from the 12oz can to a goblet with a somewhat murky and cloudy orange body. A white head forms with a creamy texture up to one finger. Retention is fairly good and a thick ring and plentiful pillows remain. Lacing starts with webs and plenty of spots down beyond that.
S- Hops lead the way with a mix of stone fruits and citrus as well as some pine. Slight amount of pale cracked malts and bready yeast.
T- Citrus zest hops like grapefruit and orange seem to gain on the other notes of tangerine, pine, floral and spicy hops. It seems to be cleaner here with a tiny amount of sweetness and yeast influence.
MF- Medium thick body with carbonation at a moderately high level. Texture is silky as well as frothy. Medium-high bitterness at the end but it is a clean one.
Strong citrus hops with plenty of other character as well as a bitter bite that ends the beer smoothly.
