Poured out of a can into a pint glass. Thanks to Nick (NS2361)on trade!

A - Slightly hazy golden pour. Nice aggressive, frothy white head, about two fingers worth that settled down quickly. Slight lacing.

S – Good piney smell immediately on pour with nice grapefruit in the nose. Great smelling brew.

T – Starts out with a slight sweetness. Pleasant. Immediately moves to a more hoppy, piney flavor. I did not find it overwhelming at all and the nose suggests it would be more aggressive of a flavor. Not a hop bomb at all. Grapefruit and citrus. Certainly has a bitter hit but again not overwhelming.

M – Medium bodied with low to medium carbonation. Slightly slick on the palate.

O – Good, solid IPA. It smells wonderful and has a nice even bitterness that would appeal to every drinker.

Got as part of a beer trade with pkthebuckeye. Poured into a pint.

A&S: The aroma is a great blend of tropical and citrus. Look is hazy yellow-orange. Head has decent retention and leaves a tiny bit of lacing.

T&M: Lots of citrus in the taste mostly lemon, but some grapefruit. The tropical aroma doesn't come through in the taste, but has some interesting grassy hop tones. No real malty backbone, but not totally hop centered. The beer has good balance. Very drinkable, not very heavy on the palate. Medium body and carbonation, not on either of the extremes smooth or crisp.

Overall: Great beer. I've been looking forward to trying stuff from Jackie O's, and this beer lived up to the hype that I put on it.
