Thanks to DarthKostrizer for sharing this one at his tasting.
Bottle # 92/206. 2011 vintage.
Pours an opaque black with a dark khaki head that settles to an oily film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace form around on the drink down. Smell is of dark roasted malt, wood, rum, and some funky dirty feet aromas. Taste is much the same down to the funky flavors. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty poor beer with some sort of infection going on.

Thanks for opening this with me, DarthKostrizer!
(Aged for 6+ months)
Black throughout with a moderately sized brown head that leaves dots and spots of lace down the glass. This has appropriate visible carbonation per the style.
A somewhat strange aroma, especially for the style. There's a good amounts of wood and caramel aroma, along with some off-putting acidic/funk character. I'm sure that isn't intended. There's some chocolate and roast elements as well, but something is off here.
The flavor is also I'm sure unintended funked and acidic. The wood notes taste moldy, the rum flavors sharp and acidic, and the rich chocolate and cream flavors don't hide something going wrong here.
Medium bodied with moderate to high carbonation.

Thanks to chswimmer for sharing.
Pours jet black and viscous with a small tan head.
The aroma is pretty chocolatey with molasses and booze, nuts, a little rum and oak.
The flavor is rather nice, a little ashy with dark chocolate, anise, soy sauce, oak, and rum-soaked toasted walnuts.
Very full-bodied with low carbonation - a bit too low - and very slick.
A good imperial stout overall, maybe not as good as the non-bal version though as crazy as that is.

22 oz bottle into a couple of snifters. Batch #1. Bottle 70/192/ Huge thanks go to Stakem for sharing this. I’m glad I could be there when you finally decided to open this!
Pours a pitch black, topped with a ½ finger of rich and creamy chocolate colored head. This maintains a robust ½ finger, leaving back a thick cascade of brown oils and frothy lace. The aroma smells of fudge, molasses, vanilla, dark fruit, dark roast, and some spicy warmth towards the back. This is smooth and delicious in the nostrils.
The taste is just so smooth and well integrated across the board here, with notes of rum, spice, vanilla, chocolate, toffee, some darker ripe fruit, and then some dry roasted notes and char on the finish. The mouthfeel is full bodied and just so smooth and creamy on the palate. There is a very light sharpness to the carbonation but the overall feel here and ridiculously well hid alcohol content just carries all of that sticky sweetness so well.
I REALLY liked this! The rum character seems to cover up a lot of the walnut flavor that was so prominent in the regular version of this but man, the melding of the base and barrel flavor here is just so well done. This one grew on me more and more as I worked through this glass. I’ve been really enjoying these BA Jackie O’s beers that I’ve had so far. I look forward to checking out more in the future.

warning: very sick black Pacific coffee colored head.
the nose is sick what the hell has the molasses Sunapee quality touch of dark malt.
the flavors and very heavy face picchocolate and burn black milds along with a half heavy smoke and some light rum flavors there's just a touch of 19 s with a light bit over the hops.
the mouth feels tremendously therapy very sick long lasting oily quality.
I highly recommend this beer.

black as night oil like liquid which had a huge tan head that really very slowly faded leaving behind lots of gooey sticky brown lace.
caramel, with some chocolate mixed in and a strong alcohol presence. Lots of sweet vanilla and bourbon, huge oak smells here. smell as well, very sweet overall. It was smooth, with not alot of carbonation. Huge bourbon whiskey type taste hit me right away as did the alcohol, this was not something to be messed with for sure. Very creamy thick feel and very strong alcohol presentation. Hints at french vanilla and a touch of chocolate rounded out the back side and added a bit of sweetness.
