Notes/Commercial Description:
We took our Razz wheat and soured it with B. Lambicus, Pediocaccus, and Lactobacilious it was then blended with our Organic Honey Nut Brown. Then blend was keg conditioned for 6 months allowing the wild yeast and bacteria to gorge themselves on the sugar rich nut brown portion of the blend. This beer is ripe with complexities including a fruity, musty, beady, and leathery nose and a light caramel covered raspberry flavor that finishes very tart and semi dry.

Thanks to Jeff for this one. 22oz. bottle into Tired Hands stemware. Shared with schen9303.

Pours a thin, light cream colored head with moderate retention. Beer is a dark, clear mahogany. Lacing is patchy but sparse with little stick. Average.

Nose is tart raspberry, strawberry and other red fruit. Robust and juicy. Simple.

Opens crisp and tart. Raspberry, strawberry and vinegar. Tart, puckering, and seedy. More fruit foward in the middle with a touch of earthy bitterness at the finish. Aftertaste of puckering fruit, bitter seed and fruit stem. Decent.

Light bodied with ample carbonation. Prickly and lively in the mouth and goes down crisp and dry. Puckering finish with a lingering, dry aftertaste. Nice.

A solid beer overall but the flavor is separated between watery and tart and puckering. Worth trying but it's not one of the better offerings in the style.

Reviewed from notes. Shared by Sasha - thanks. Bottle #133 of 250 (2014).

A: Pours a light brown with reddish highlights under an off-white, 1/2" head which yields some spotty lace.

N: Juicy raspberries, basalmic tartness, fruity.

T: Fruity raspberries, aged wood, dark roasted malts, some tartness.

M: Moderate body and medium carbonation. Tart and fruity finish.

O: Soured brown and oak aged with raspberries is enjoyable.
