Received in a 4 oz. tasting glass. This is a Belgian blond brewed with honey and pineapple sage.
3.5 A: Nearly clear yellow orange color. Came without a head.
4.0 S: Spicy and herbal nose. Clove from the yeast, plenty of sage, and plenty of honey as well. A little dry, but overall quite nice.
2.5 T: Really herbal and grassy. Sage dominates. The spice isn't as potent in the taste. The herbalness would be fine if there was a more balancing sweetness, but this is awfully dry. Honey and hay round things off.
3.5 M: Lighter body. Good moderate carbonation with a nice spritziness. Could be smoother if it was more balanced.
3.0 D: Decent beer, but has some faults that need to be addressed.
Serving type: on-tap
