Appearance - Nice gold color with a good inch of head. However the head does not sustain itself and it barely laces at all. Not many signs of carbonation and there seems to be small particles floating in the beer.
Smell - At first this it was neigh impossible to get anything, but as it warmed up I'm catching some bland corn and hops, but not much else. It's frankly very generic smelling to be honest.
Taste - Not bad, but a bit run of the mill. Grainy taste with dominant corn flavor, with a slight sourdough hint. Ends with smooth bitter hops which leave only the faintest aftertaste which I like.
Mouthfeel - The aftertaste is perfect and does not linger and it doesn't leave the mouth strange after drinking. A little be more watery then I'd like and frankly it really lacks carbonation. No head at all to this beer either.
Drinkability - Very smooth going down, doesn't seem to bloat, doesn't leave too much an aftertaste. This is damn drinkable, albeit at the cost of not being very flavorful or interesting.
Final Thoughts - To me, this beer would be a good substitute for a macro beer. However, the cost of importing makes that prohibitive. If I was living in Denmark, this would probably be my generic beer of choice, but over here it's just too little bang for my buck.

Re reviewing this as it's probably been a full year since I've last tried it. 500 ml can purchased from LCBO for $2.00 CDN. Served cold into a pint glass.
Appearance - Weak pale golden straw color is poured. Nearly 2 fingers of head is poured but retention time isn't great and no lacing left as the head makes it's rapid descent. Very few bubbles actually and the beer is clear.
Smell - Slightly sweet, grainy aromatics, and the nose is fairly insubstantial. Not terribly impressed by this. At least it's not skunked like you would expect in the green bottles that are available.
Taste - Bland watery beer. Some sweetness but also kind of a very muted vegetative, earthy character. It's not bad it's just muted and generally lacking in flavor.
Mouthfeel - Nice clean finish, but the carbonation is fairly low, even for something in the style. Wish it a a bit more crispness.
Overall - Tuborg Green is not a terribly bad Euro pale Lager, it's just more muted and less offensive than many, but also lacks the boldness and tastiness that some of them due have. Basically, akin to the flavor, this is a muted representative of the style, that's fine after a hard day's work or some yard work, but definite;y won't blow anyone's socks off.
