May 2010: 330 ml clear bottle with a tear-off cap (thought those went out of fashion in the 70s?). Distributed (and probably brewed) by Ringnes (Carlsberg) for the Norwegian market. ABV is 4.5%. Extremely pale and crystal clear yellow colour, big to moderate white head. Weak aroma with hints of pilsener malts and artificial lime flavouring. Sweetish sugary flavour with notes of artificial "lime" again - and nothing else. No bitterness, nor any other indications that this actually is a beer. Jeezes - what a worthless "beer"! I’d rather have a glass of mineral water with a twist of real lime. Ringnes/Carlsberg have once again shown us that Tuborg is chosen as their bog standard brand in Norway.

Pours light yellow, a small head disapears immediateley. Smells kind of citrusy, a bit malty, and a little bit skunkiness (clear bottle.)
Tastes of sweet malt and alcohol, doesn't really taste the lime here.
A decent thirstquencher, better than i expected.

The colour is very pale yellow, the liquid clear. The two finger head is airy and white. It leaves some lacing on the glass.
The smell is somewhat bitter with notes of lime-peels, lime cordial and a rather frowsy sweetness.
The taste is very sweet with earthy malt-like flavours. Some lime-squash notes. The sweetness passes and leaves, for a very short time, room for a neutral mild bitterness. The aftertaste is stuffy with some lemon-lime flavours and a stale sweetness.
The carbonation is medium to light, the bubbles are small. The liquid is a bit sticky.
Yet another canned shandy that lacks all things fresh. If I want to drink something citric and sweet to get me drunk, I bloody rather buy a Smirnoff Ice.
