This hole in the wall bar tries to pass itself off as an "English Pub". Except for the unoriginal name, there's nothing remotely English about this place. Last Summer I asked them if they were going to show World Cup football on the TV; they were not even going to be open!
3 or 4 common beers on tap(No, not 20), with several bottles in the brightly lit fridge behind the bar. Ambivalent to rude bartenders with little knowledge as to beer styles or brands. Uncomfortable seats, and there's no patio or porch seating to speak of - it gets intolerably smoky.

Great little bar to hang out and play some darts and pool. The staff is always friendly and have a lot to say about their offerings. I think that it could be a little cleaner at times, but thats what you get with a neighborhood-type bar pub. Great selection and great people to hand out with. The atmosphere tends to be a little docile at times but it is a relaxing place to hang. Must visit this place!
Beer selection is good and seems to expand and/or change quite a bit. They do keep their beer list up-to-date (I hate when places are out of things and it is still on their list) with many options to choose from.

This has been a VERY regular stop for me, even though I no longer live as close to the bar. They have a terrific selection of beers and the people who work here are both knowledgeable and friendly to boot. I have always loved UJ's for thee people who come in as well. Many a great conversations have been had here with complete strangers saddled up to the bar with a lovely pint in hand. Definitely stop in if you happen to be in Knoxville, it is well worth the time!! Beer is reasonable and there are always specials through the week. You can also find some beers here that you may not be able to find in other places, draft especially!

Pretty cool little place. "English Pub" style with almost 30 taps and probably 100 or more bottles. Lots of Olde Hickory/Foothills brews that were pretty good. I think I got an Oak Aged DIPA for $4 on tap on a Friday night.
They had a couple food specials that looked pretty good...not sure if they have a full menu or not.
There is a semicircle bar with tables on one side, and Pool/Darts/Foosball on the other. They've also got a Jukebox you can choose from. The place is tight, but it has a pretty cool little atmosphere.
This place is reasonably priced, and I'll definitely be back.

Got to stop in her in the late afternoon before I left town and I was definitly not dissapointed. This place rocked. Great selection of beer, easily over 100 bottles with about 10 or so on tap. Pretty much everything I could find in the area and the prices were pretty reasonable. I was literally the only person in the place on a Thursday afternoon so that was kinda cool. I could see how it could get cramped though. This was a fine place and defintly would recommend it. The have a killer beer selection for the area and if you like the tight cozy places, then this one is for you.

I like this place. They have about 100 types of beers in bottles and maybe 12 different beers on tap. The food is pretty great for what I'm looking for: something different that's filling and cheap. They have a tabouli filled pita - which rocks, Pub dogs (brats in a hot dog bun), and a few different sandwhiches. All of them come with chips and a pickle and are about 4 bucks. Anyway the bartenders aren't terribly friendly but they keep your drinks filled. The beers they do have are Paulaner,Chimay,Flying Dog,Anchor Steam. They have all the american and mexican beers that are big names but they're usually more hidden. They have 13 Rebels ESB on tap, a few obscure hefe weisses, Guinness, and Bass of course. I didn't see Bondingham's Pub Ale. The atmosphere is a bit quite. They have two 20 inch televisions which I imagine help quite a bit when Rugby tournaments or soccer tournaments are going on. I also think I haven't gone on a good night to go. Either way it's super neat. Dark as hell and you sit on elevatated stools. If you go there don't end up doing there 150 beer challenge cause you won't end up really enjoying your beer. You'll just look sorta silly if you end up staring at that damn sheet all the time.

This is a hole in the wall, English themed pub that is just a good beer drinking bar with no liquor available. Clientele is generally young professional/college aged but usually a pretty good mix of patrons. They have probably 100 to 150 bottles/cans and 20 or so more on tap. A nice selection of Olde Hickory beers that I haven't seen elsewhere in town. This is a good place to go to enjoy a few pints and throw a few darts. It gets ridiculously smoky and crowded on weekend nights due to its small size. There is a small back patio area if the smoke overwhelms you, which it will. I used to frequent this place quite a bit and the only other knock on it is that the bar staff could be pretty ambivalent and sometimes fairly rude. That was not the case during my most recent visit, but it was a Tuesday afternoon. I did notice a slight renovation to the booths lining the left wall paralleling the bar with some stone work and fresh paint. The pool and dart room was essentially the same as in the past. Tight quarters, but worth the claustrophobia for the beer selection. It is probably the most extensive in town especially the bottles.
