This is a wine shop, tons of it available. You wouldn’t know that had any beer unless you read it here – ‘cause as mentioned it is way in the back and pretty darn small selection – couple six foot coolers and a 6 foot warm shelf.

If you are staying at the hotel the shopping center, you are in luck to grab a sixer or bomber of good beer – Bells was included in the offerings. The local brews, Schlafly and O’fallon are not done any justice with limited offerings.
Prices are fine, most sixers run the 7 to 8 dollar range. I grabbed a sixer of Bridgeport IPA for seven-fifty.

Also, if you’re walking – the Fox and Hound in front of the movie theater down a couple blocks to the west has 20 taps of decent offerings.

Although this is more of a wine store it had quite the small selection of interesting beers. They were mainly Belgian Brews. I was really excited to find a local gem that I had never seen before. There were two beers brewed by Charleville Vineyards and Microbrewery that I bought here that were great and have not been able to find since. Half Wit Wheat and Tornado Alley Ale. Both were great. The gentleman working there was also very nice and gave me some advice on other beer stores and home brew shops in the area. When I told him that I was taking I-44 home he even gave me better directions so I could avoid some flooding and traffic. It was a bit pricey but not too bad. It was all about quality not quantity. Almost all the beers were from Missouri or Belgium. The man did say they were going to start carrying more beers.
