Appearance - This poured a beautiful, hazy deep orange in color with a gorgeous head that left some nice lacing on the inside of my glass.
Smell - This is an excellent mix of hop aromas. First off, the pine is as sharp as I've ever smelled but somehow manages to harmonize with the rest of the other hops. The citrus is a mix of mild white grapefruit and the smell you get from a tangerine minus the orange flavor. That may sound contradictory but when you smell a tangerine you get the big orange aroma of course but then you get an earthy smell from the rind and the pulp and that is what I'm finding here. It's kind of vegetable-green as well.
I feel for the poor malt base that can't some close to standing its own here, but hell this is a PacNW IPA so f' ya. This hop bouquet though is incredibly inviting and really just sets the stage for what must be an amazing flavor profile.
Taste - This delivers in spades at the taste. The hops are so refined and so succinct they define the "crispness" comment you see written so often in IPA reviews. I've had a lot of big pine resin beers before but this characteristic is so clean and fresh it's like the difference between eating frozen green beans and picking them off the vine. The other players from the nose come on righteously at the taste so don't mean to ignore those flavors but the pine in this profile is just phenomenal.
Mouthfeel - This is medium-bodied, again very crisp, with a sharp bitterness that is both big and pleasant. The continuity is incredible as it just starts off sharp, threatens an overpowering bitter mallet, then maintains its cool, and finishes with a flourish of sensations never once offending the drinker.
Drinkability - This is my idea of a killer sipping IPA. I actually had the DIPA by Kinsaki first and was grandly disappointed and am now confused. How could you produce an amazing IPA like this then struggle so mightily with the DIPA? Either way, I'll certainly be buying the rest of the BevMo stock of this ale come the weekend.

Pours a nice amber color with a good amount of head and leaves nice lacing in the glass. Very little hop aroma but overall good balance between bitterness and body. It would benefit from more flavor in the middle. Mouthfeel is as expected.
Not my first choice but isn't bad in a pinch.

Review from BeerAdvocate Magazine Issue #48 (Jan 2011):
Quick to foam from a moderate pouring, the epic-sized head dissipates real slow. Amber golden color is completely hazed over. Grapefruit rind, taffy and walnut skin in the nose ... lots of hops, but the yeast shakes things up. Slick medium body, carbonation goes from massive head to nearly nothing. Bitterness is borderline astringent though a toffee flavor and ester alcohol distract the palate enough to produce a disjointed balance. Yeasty and fruity in the middle with a plainly bitter finish. Unfortunately, the yeast dominates a bit too much here--you can taste the potential if the yeast was tapered back.

22 oz. bottle poured into a 5 oz tasting glass.
It was a rather cloudy golden color typical of an IPA.
As my tastes have evolved, this has become one of my favorite every day IPA's.
Uber-citrus flavor to satisfy the senses if you're a hop head. A very good IPA.

A- Great color, a light copper look. Looks like a filtered Mannys (Seattle).
S- Smells very hoppy when first pouring. Floral and citrus notes are strong for an IPA.
T&M- Incredibly strong hoppy bite to the taste. The taste experience seems to mellow on the flavors after a few sips; citrus notes coming through later in the drinking of the beer.
One of my favorite IPA's I have tasted. I'm excited to try their Tricerahops Double IPS.

12 oz bottle. Pours hazy copper orange with a big fluffy white head that retains well and laces the glass.
The aroma is sweet grainy caramel malt and grassy fruity cascade hops.
The flavor is sweet bready malts with a huge grassy bitterness in the finish with some metallic fruit notes. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with low carbonation.
Overall, reminds me of a way over the top SNPA. The bitterness had some off notes and was a bit unpleasant (almost charred) in the aftertaste.

12oz brown bottle with no freshness date.
Bubbly white head, hazed pale amber hue. Juicy nose with fruity overtones, both hops and mild alcohol have infiltrated my nostrils. Smooth throughout, balanced hop bitterness is just the beginning ... citrus pith, peppery, powdered aspirin, and pungent. Big juicy kiss of exotic fruit in the middle with a bit of alcohol in tow.
Not half bad for an IPA, not like the rest and seem more of a old school American IPA before the whole hop thing became a pissing match. Decent drinking.

Great single ipa here, a little darker than your average ipa, on the low end carbonation wise. Good aroma. Standard pine and citrus feel, not overpowering.
Taste, continue to be pleased, a little lighter than the appearance would suggest. Pine seems to pull ahead downbottle, citrus remains. Unbalanced in a good way for an ipa, not totally out of whack.
Great price wise, $5 a 22 for a solid beer.
EDIT: I dunno what the deal is, but these keep getting worse. Don't buy at bevmo, always old.

22 oz undated bottle.
Pours with a large creamy head - exceptional, especially for style.
Feel: near medium body is a touch thin but with enough carbonation to lend some crispness, and a bit of creaminess, especially with the head.
Hops: primarily piney with some herbal and little fruit other than a strong grapefruit rind taste that lingers on and on in the aftertaste.
O: Great appearance and find feel, but not my favorite mix of hops.
