Total Domination is a tremendously balanced IPA.

It tops out at 65 IBUs so the hoppiness does not over power the palate, as many IPAs.

Even with the (relatively) low amount of hops, this beer is not a push over.

It has a strong finish that is characteristic of a classic IPA but when meshed with the opening floral notes, it is one of the smoothest. It is dangerously easy to drink four or five of these without even thinking about it; which, with a 6.7% ABV, can lead to some fantastic situations.

I would not call this beer overly complex but that is the beauty of it. The simplicity of this beer paired with the brewmaster’s ability to perfectly meld the ingredients makes this IPA one of a kind. I thoroughly recommend this to anyone if you can get your hands on it.

Clear, straw gold in color, one finger white head. Leaves rings of foam like so many rings in a tree. Buttered cracker malt with a tinge of metallic amber malt with bitter, wild grass hops aroma and a bit of sweet floral presence. Sweet copper bitterness and biscuit with funky honeysuckle flavors make up the malt taste. hop oil bitterness remains, indicating the freshness of the beer. Soapy and acidic mouthfeel. A bit watery with a dry finish.

Although a bit too acidic for me, this is a very solid IPA. There are better out there that are widely available, but I won't ever complain drinking this. The metallic hop oil is detracting a bit much too, but the sweet nectar flavors mostly offset it. I guess this is just a bit off balance to me in mouthfeel, but flavor is definitely where it needs to be.

A- Light Amber color. Medium head retention.

S- Nice floral aroma, not much maltiness.

T- Tastes of floral hops, well balanced between bitterness and malt, nothing sticking out. Although nothing is sticking out it's not particularly yummy.

M- Light bodied mouthfeel, good carbonation.

The floral nose is nice. Taste is good but not great.

Bottled: unk

A: copper with near excellent clarity. under a finger of white foam falls to a thick sheet of the same leaving near cobweb lace.
S: Smells of old, english malts. Pretty sure this is old, but based on the fact that no bottle date is present, I will assume this is how they intended it should be. This is a poor presentation.
T: Tastes of bittered malts and some crystal tones. Nothing else really.
M: thin to medium bodied with hi carb. A semi dry finish.
O: This beer is shit. Maybe it's a bad bottle, or an old bottle, hard to say provided this information is not important enough to include on the label.

Appearance: orange in color with a one finger head that breaks apart quickly.

Smell: floral hop bitterness with some orange citrus. Light aroma overall.

Taste: caramel, orange, soft grapefruit tones, some pear sweetness, and a floral bitterness. Flavors are nice but could be a bit bolder.

Mouthfeel: medium bodied beer. Crisp throughout with some dryness late.

Overall: easy to quaff this beer but it is definitely a standard fare IPA. Decent but no great.
