Enjoyed out of a brown 22 oz bomber with no dating that I can locate on the bottle. Poured into a 50 cL glass stein with a textured exterior.
Appearance - Pours a clear brassy orange-brown color, with a faint golden amber highlight where the light shines thought at the edges of the glass. Atop the body sits a one-finger foam the color of parchment or aged silk. Retention is moderate, and eventually fades to a thick film of suds across the top and opaque sheets of lacing along the sides.
Smell - Hops dominate with notes of grapefruit, pine resin, and tropical fruitiness along with a faint trace of alcoholic esters. Seems like there is a noticeable element of the the caramel malts to give this one's aroma some heft.
Taste - The promise of the nose comes through, now with more grapefruit and some raw bitterness, like dandelion greens. There are also notes of pale malt and again the bittersweetness from the caramel malts. On the finish, I detect some phenolic fruitiness.
Mouthfeel - Slightly on the heavy side of medium bodied, with moderate carbonation and a semisweet finish.
Overall, a solid, well-balanced double IPA. Easy to drink in spite of being almost 9% abv. However, there is definitely some unapologetic bitterness on the aftertaste, so be warned.

Poured 22oz bottle into Lost Abbey Teku
A-Pours a really hazy orangish/straw color with a small foamy off white head. Great lacing.
S-Aroma of strong grapefruit, orange, citrus skins, and caramel malt.
T-Taste is also of strong grapefruit and citrus zest up front, followed by caramel malt, grass, and some pine.
M-Average carbonation with a slight bitter finish.
O-Overall a delicious DIPA had to get another bomber.
