12 oz bottle. Pours slightly hazy orange copper with a medium creamy off white head that retains well and leaves some lacing.

The aroma is sweet bready malts with some floral piney hops.

The flavor is sweet bready malts with big piney, resiny, tarry hops with a harsh bitterness in the aftertaste. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.

Overall, a big bitter hop bomb. I remember it being less harsh and more fruity on tap.

Sampled on tap. Golden orange color and nearly clear. Nose was surprisingly uneventful. After disappointing nose taste was a very pleasant surprise - big mango and orange flavors with a slightly astringent finish.sparkly mouth feel.

I only thought of it as average.

Very solid West Coast IIPA. A bit more balanced than others, but still offers plenty of hop goodness.
